Here are 5 reasons that our teacher-leaders decided to travel with The Global Citizen Program:

1. We offer a well-rounded experience. All of our programs include a balance of sightseeing, immersion, and interactive learning activities.

2. There are no hidden extras or surprise costs. All of our programs include all activities listed on our itineraries, we do not sell optional or extra activities after students enroll or during their program.

3. We include all tips and gratuities in the price of our programs so students (and teachers) do not need to worry about budgeting for this during their travels.

4. We stay in high quality, centrally located hotels and guarantee that every student has their own bed on all of our international programs.

5. We offer pre-departure trainings for teacher-leaders, and seminars and preparation meetings run by our staff for students and parents before departure to ensure everyone is ready for their program.

Getting Started

Take your students on more than a sightseeing tour, encourage them to become Global Citizens.

Step 1.

**Select your Program**
You will work closely with one of our experienced and well-traveled team members who will help you design your domestic or international program. Or, we can help you select one of our existing programs.

Step 2.

**Promote your Program**
We will design a parent and student info meeting presentation for your program. We will join your meeting to help you run it, and be there to help answer any questions.

Step 3.

**Get Prepared**
We believe becoming a Global Citizen starts well before you depart on your program. We hold monthly meetings and trainings for our leaders to ensure that you are prepared to travel with your students.

Step 4.

**Communication**
During your program, our US-based office staff will be in contact with your group on a daily basis to ensure you and your students are having a great time. You will also be joined by one of our local Travel Directors 24/7 during your program, they take care of all the logistics, so you can give 100% of your attention to your students.

We provide high quality, affordable programs, and exceptional customer service.

Our program-leaders are volunteers, however, we do cover the cost of your travel when you bring 6 students for you to serve as their program leader, chaperone and mentor.
We partner closely with our teacher-leaders to design domestic and international programs for fall, winter, spring and summer. We consider our teacher-leaders part of our team, and value your ideas, input and collaboration.
With over 30 years of experience in student travel and international education, our team has the passion, expertise, and global connections to create unique programs for a truly life-enriching experience.
We go beyond your typical student sightseeing tours. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to include a balance of sightseeing, cultural immersion, interactive learning activities, leadership and service opportunities.
Our student and leader’s health, safety and emotional well-being is always our top priority, and there is nothing we take more seriously.
From using only centrally located hotels, to working alongside experienced local Travel-Directors, to serving authentic meals to using the most direct flights, we offer top quality programs at affordable prices.
Leaders will participate in trainings and preparation meetings led by staff, and experienced leaders to help prepare you for a successful program.
